Privacy Policy
Magic List (“we,” “us”) is an AI text assistant for real estate professionals. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices — including Google account data you connect via OAuth.
Who this covers
People who text Magic List, open links we send (account, reports, listings), or connect a Google account so Magic List can help with their Gmail and Calendar.
Information we collect
- Phone-linked account. Your mobile number is the primary account key. We may store a signed session cookie when you open account or billing links.
- Messages and usage. Texts you send us, agent replies, and operational logs needed to run the service (timestamps, plan/usage, errors).
- Billing. Subscription and payment status via our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
- Google account (optional, per realtor). If you connect Google, we receive OAuth tokens and access only the scopes you approve. Today that means Gmail (read mail; send mail on your behalf) and Google Calendar (read/write calendars and events) for your productivity in Magic List.
- Technical data. Standard request metadata (IP, user agent) when you load our web pages.
How we use Google user data
When you connect Google, Magic List uses your Gmail and Calendar data only to provide realtor productivity features you request in the product — for example listing or reading relevant email, sending email you ask us to send from your Gmail, and creating or updating calendar events (showings, calls, reminders). We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI/ML models. Access is tied to your phone-linked Magic List account.
How we use other information
- Operate and improve Magic List (research helpers, documents, creatives, account/billing).
- Authenticate you, prevent abuse, and provide support.
- Communicate about the service (including transactional messages).
Sharing
We share data with processors that help us run the product (hosting, databases, AI providers, SMS/email delivery, payments) under agreements that limit use to providing those services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep account, message, and usage data while your account is active and as needed for operations, legal, and security. Google OAuth tokens are stored so your connection keeps working until you disconnect or we delete the account. You can ask us to disconnect Google or delete account data (see Contact).
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, signed links for sensitive account actions). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Your choices
- Disconnect Google from Magic List (or revoke access in your Google Account permissions).
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
- Stop using the service / cancel subscription through account flows or by contacting us.
Children
Magic List is for business/professional use and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice when appropriate.
